Gov. Nini Ynares launched her administration's flagship program, The YNARES ECO SYSTEM or the YES TO GREEN PROGRAM at the Ynares Center, Antipolo City. The project has three components namely: GREENING the environment, CLEANING the environment and RECYCLING, embodying the aim to address environmental issues of waste management, clogged water tributaries, deforested mountains and watersheds, and declining livelihood opportunities. The said event was attended by Provincial, City and Municipal and Barangay government officials, education and academe Institutions, Non-government organizations and business and private sectors. High-ranking national agencies officials were also invited namely Department of the Interior and Local Government Region IVA Regional Director Josefina Castilla-Go, Department of Environment and Natural Resources-IVA Regional Technical Director Manuel Escasora and Presidential Adviser for Environmental Protection and Laguna Lake Development Authority General Manager Secretary J.R. Nereus O. Acosta.
