PROVINCIAL CAPITOL, Antipolo, Rizal – All the local government units (LGUs) of the province of Rizal will have the chance to showcase what their town/city has to offer their visitors through a painting exhibit at the lobby of the Provincial Capitol this June.
With renowned and fast rising artist all over the province, the exhibit, which is a brainchild of Gov. Nini Ynares will run through the whole month of June and is part of the 113th Araw ng Lalawigan ng Rizal celebrations.
In a statement, Gov. Nini Ynares said that the project will surely add prestige and glamour to the festivities of the Founding Anniversary of the province. She also said that through this exhibit, more tourists, foreign and local will be enticed to visit during one of the most highly anticipated activities in the entire province.
The provincial Capitol assisted the artists for the said project. A maximum of five artists per town/city will work on a 4’ x 8’ canvass.
The province is home to National Artists Vicente Manansala and Carlos “Botong” Francisco.
