PROVINCIAL CAPITOL, Antipolo, Rizal – The Metrobank Foundation, Inc. has recently announced the winners in the search for The Outstanding Philippine Soldiers (TOPS) 2014 and one of the winners is Master Sergeant Aladin Dacayanan PA (under the Philippine Army Enlisted Personnel Category), a resident of Antipolo City, this province.
For Dacayanan’s feat, he will join the elite roster of outstanding soldiers in the country and will receive a trophy and cash prize. MSg. Dacayanan rose from the rank and has exhibited extraordinary acts in combat and civil operations and has introduced innovations in his work. Presently, he is assigned in the Intelligence Service of the Western Command AFP based in Palawan.
Rizal Gov. Nini Ynares has recommended to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan an appropriate recognition for MSg. Dacayanan. Gov. Ynares said that the award is an inspiring display of what a model soldier should be and that the province and its people are very proud of having a Rizaleño soldier among the best in the country.
