The Provincial Government of Rizal headed by Gov. Nini Ynares, Antipolo City Government led by Mayor Jun Ynares, and philanthropist Kenji Mori jointly undertook a Grand Pyromusical and Kids Concert at the sprawling Ynares Center. The Kids Concert was participated by various public schools in DepEd Divisions of Rizal and of Antipolo City that regaled the thousands of audience in attendance who eagerly anticipated the magnificent pyrotechnics show. Through Mr. Mori, basketballs and volleyballs were also distributed in various public schools in the province. Among the guests in the affair were Consul General and Minister for General Affair Mr. Jiroyuki Uchida of the Embassy of Japan, Mr. and Mrs. Yokoyama and local officials. The affair was culminated with the biggest and grandest fireworks display in celebration of over 60 years of friendship and cooperation of two countries dubbed, Philippines-Japan Friendship Day, celebrated on the 9th of July. The grand spectacle illuminated the skyline of Rizal for over 20 minutes.
